2) General Note

Pursuant to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection provisions (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to privacy and to protection against the misuse of their personal data. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this Privacy Policy.

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data as much as possible against loss, unauthorized access, misuse, or alteration.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.

3) Processing of Personal Data

Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. Processing encompasses any handling of personal data, including, in particular, the collection, storage, use, disclosure, archiving, or deletion of such data.

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the operation of this website and for communication with prospective customers and clients, or when we are legally required to do so.

4) SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

5) Hosting and Server Log Files (Cmsbox)

Our website is hosted by Cmsbox GmbH. When you visit the website, the server infrastructure collects general access data, which is stored in so-called log files. This includes, in particular: the name of the webpage accessed, the URL, the date and time, the amount of data transferred, a notification of successful access, the browser type and version, the user’s operating system, the referrer URL, and the IP address. This data is processed to ensure technical operation and security.

6) Visitor Statistics (Matomo)
The Matomo tracking system is used on this website to analyze visitor statistics. Matomo is hosted on the servers of the hosting provider Cmsbox; no data is shared with third parties for processing. Data is collected in a pseudonymized form, so it is not possible to identify individual visitors. According to CMS Box, the underlying records are deleted after 180 days. You can disable the collection of your data using the settings accessible via the link.

7) Cookies

This website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device and make it easier to use the website or allow us to analyze its use. In particular, cookies can be used to determine the frequency of use and the number of users, analyze website usage patterns, and make our website more user-friendly.

Some cookies are technically necessary (e.g., for basic functions or security). Other cookies may be used for statistical purposes (e.g., in connection with Matomo and Google Analytics).

Depending on their type, cookies are stored either for the duration of a session or for a longer period and can be read again when you revisit the site. If you do not wish this to happen, you can configure your web browser to block cookies entirely or partially, or to delete cookies that have already been stored. Please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent.

In addition, you can opt out of statistical tracking (Matomo) (see Section 6).

8) Contacting Us (Contact Form/Email)

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process your information to handle your inquiry and for any follow-up questions.

Data Processed (typically): Name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message.

Form Protection (Google reCAPTCHA v3)

The contact forms on this website are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 against abusive submissions by bots. This requires, for technical reasons, that personal data be transferred to Google. Each form includes a corresponding notice (e.g., “protected by reCAPTCHA”) with a link to Google’s Privacy Policy.

9) Google Fonts (external)

We use Google Fonts to ensure consistent font display. The fonts are loaded from the hosting provider's servers, and no connection is made to Google.

10) Web Analytics (Google Analytics)

When used, we employ Google Analytics to analyze website usage and optimize content. This involves the processing of usage data (e.g., page views, interactions, and technical information). Cookies may be used in connection with Google Analytics.

11) Google Maps (if used)

If Google Maps is embedded on this website (e.g., to display a location), a connection to Google’s servers may be established when you visit the corresponding page. In the process, technical data (in particular, your IP address and browser information) may be transmitted to Google.

12) Recipients/Service Providers and Data Transfers Abroad

We may use service providers who process personal data on our behalf (e.g., hosting/CMS, technical service providers).

When using third-party services (in particular Google reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts, Google Analytics and – where applicable – Google Maps), data may be transferred abroad (depending on the provider, this may also be outside Switzerland).

13) Retention period

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Data that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised to the best of our ability.

14) Your rights

You may request access to your personal data and, under certain conditions, request its rectification or erasure. For any enquiries regarding data protection, please contact us at the data controller specified in section 1.

15) Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The current version published on this website shall apply.
